If you are running Windows 8 or 8.1, you have to change a setting in Windows Control Panel so that TaskAngel for Windows Desktop can run correctly. Go to Start / Desktop. Open the Charms and choose Settings / Control Panel. Choose Programs / Turn Windows features on or off. Check the checkbox next to ‘.Net Framework 3.5 (includes .Net 2.0 and 3.0)’. Then click on OK, and you’re done.
